For the fourth i visited DC. This shot was taken from the Iwo Jima memorial site.
There were quite a few photographers who were set up on the hill there.
Some of them said they were waiting since 6am so they would have a good spot for photos.

Great pic. Wish I could’ve been there. Needless to say, we don’t celebrate the 4th in Japan…especially from the Iwo Jima memorial,:) But we do have a ridiculous amt of fireworks festivals that go on for 1.5-2 hours each…sometimes, 12,000, 13,000 fireworks!
